NJveg will be joining Save Coastal Wildlife and the National Park Service to help cleanup Fisherman’s Trail at the tip of Sandy Hook (thanks to NJveg member Beverly for the suggestion!). We’ll meet at Parking Lot M on N Bragg Rd, Sandy Hook, NJ 07732 (GPS coordinates 40.470710, -74.005026). Please be on time, and plan for a 15 minute drive from the entrance to Sandy Hook. Detailed information at Volunteer.gov. Please register and sign the release form on the NJVeg website under this event in the calendar!🌊![]()

After brunch, some of us joined a vegan crawl organized by NJveg member Harry D in “Willingboro, the vegan capital of South Jersey”! We stopped at Shokra Soups, Supreme Sweets, East Ridge Pizzeria, and La Lus Cafe. We’ll be organizing a Willingboro dining outing in March or April.![]()

NJVeg is proud to announce that we are collaborating with Rutgers University to distribute plant-based meal packs for the hungry. We are currently fundraising to cover costs for these meal packs which will include things like protein bars, dried fruit, trail mix, and other shelf-stable items🍓🥕🧃![]()
