NJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (around 8:30am) and packing up (to about 4:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available, and only RSVP if you’re volunteering.
NJveg was invited to have a table at the Mount Holly Seventh Day Adventist Church’s Health Fair on Sunday September 13. We answered questions and provided free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. NJveg had a volunteer work day helping the nonprofit Elephant Shoes Animal Rescue (Elephant Shoes Animal Rescue) in Franklin Township (Newfield), Gloucester County on Saturday September 12. We cleaned out the bunny and guinea pig room, the goat and pig enclosure, painted the goat and pig barn, assembled a catio, and groomed a horse. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, sunblock, work gloves, work boots, and clothes that can get dirty.
