SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Day at Ferrets & Friends Sanctuary – Camden County

DESCRIPTION:Join NJveg for a stop at American Vegan Society’s (AVS) American Vegan Center (AVC)\, including a veg history walking tour!  We’ll meet at the American Vegan Center\, 17 N. 2nd Street (corner of 2nd and Church) at 1:45pm.  An optional early dinner follows. \nInfo from our tour guide & AVC Director\, Vance Lehmkuhl:  The tour will start promptly at 2pm.  Please be sure to be on time\, and note that finding street parking in this area of Old City can be a tricky prospect.  The AVC is also convenient to SEPTA\, with a Market-Frankford subway station a half-block away and a bus depot another half-block from there.  The walk covers approximately 1.3 miles through Old City and will end back at the AVC at around 3:30pm.  Note that all tour attendees receive a 10% discount on any of our vegan snack foods and drinks. \nIndividual tickets normally cost $20\, but we’ll get a group discount ($15 for NJveg members\, $18 for non-members).  Tickets need to be purchased from NJveg in advance – details coming soon. \n17 N 2nd Street in Old City Philadelphia \nAttendees:SteveBeverly W.Camillo M.\nPlease enter your first and last name.
